Principle Number 2. YOU CANNOT save yourself

You need to be saved from the Gates of Hell - the destination of EVERY person who does not accept Jesus Christ and their Lord and Saviour.

Salvation is a gift, graciously offered to us by God the Father, through His Son Jesus Christ. It cost us nothing but it cost Jesus Christ everything.

His crucifixion on the cross paid the price for our sin.

We cannot work to earn our salvation - the price has been paid already and it has been paid in full.

We do not need to add anything to the gift of salvation.

We have only to accept it.

Not by works of righteousness which we have done,

but according to His mercy He saved us.

Titus 3:5

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point,

he is guilty of all.

James 2:10

There is a way which seems right to a man,

but the end thereof are the ways of death. 

Proverbs 14:12

Jesus said to him, "I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE:

no man can come to the Father, except through me.

John 14:6

There are many who may claim to be the way of salvation - but they are false prophets. Jesus is the only way. Not all religion leads to Heaven - religion provides answers to questions that God is not asking.

Religion leads to death. All of the great world religion leaders rot in their grave -- Jesus Christ is alive at the right hand of God the Father.

He will stand with you before the Judgement Seat, and act as your lawyer.

When God our Judge looks upon you, He will see His Son Jesus in your place.
